Deluge
At last, my heart has known your mists that move And swirl, and sweeten all that beg to share. I grasped beyond my spirit's closet-grave and free'd it, dancing, bathing, deep'ning there. Intoxicantress, send me faerie rains To slake my thirsting, as a victor praised. Within your dew, I dart from gaol's constrains -- When laced with you, I ever am unclosed. The promise of your promised calming shower Suspends my heart's suspended disbelief, And spills onto this jaded raconteur A shower of hopes and dreams to share for life. Let angered Titans spin their storms of fear -- My tempest ends forever with you near.
