Neptune's Moon
In frigid sanctums, deep in NASA's hold Now frigid Neptune offers up a moon, 'Til now still hidden in the clouded cold That nestled round her to a nightmare's tune. The shock of meeting new worlds nearly near Adjoins the shock that Venus' truth now bears, For Venus, once thought beautiful and clear, Has bared her acid substance and her scars. New moon of cold, meet once-warm sister world! O world mis-named, face radar's unnamed find. Flamed goddess, proven now in cold unfurled, Fake unlit flames to warm this new world's blind. Oh, Venus! Once thought fragrant, welcome home To bitter truths that pierce your clouded dome.
